Interactive Education will be showcasing our portfolio at the Education Show 2015 at the NEC, Birmingham this month and we would be delighted for you to join us there and help us continue our birthday celebrations! Free entry, 19th – 21st March 2015.
To mark the occasion, not only will we be exhibiting our range of interactive classroom solutions on stand C72; but we are also pleased to announce we will be delivering an interactive workshop in the Learning Through Technology Theatre (A91), Friday 20th March 11:30am-12:00pm.
Stuart Haddon, Senior Education Consultant for Interactive Education, will be delivering an interactive workshop which examines the use of tablets within the classroom as a sharing and collaborative tool.
With an unrivalled knowledge of the Interactive Education portfolio, Stuart has been in a position to share his passion for interactive learning with many educational establishments both across the UK and internationally. With responsibility for training, development and support, Stuart has successfully honed his knowledge of digital learning, collaboration and assessment within learning environments to support the education sectors migration to the wireless and digital age.
It is now possible to use iPads, Android and Windows tablets to wirelessly connect to your Whiteboard or Touch Screen. This is easily done through using existing hardware (creating a wireless network within the classroom, with the aim of not interfering with the existing network) or alternatively through the “Cloud”.
During this session, we will look at:
- The benefits of using wireless technology within education today
- How sharing a screen can actually assist the learning process
- What impact this has on pedagogy within the classroom
This is a truly interactive session, giving you the opportunity to use your own tablet or smart phone during the seminar to really see the benefits of this technology for yourself.
