Beginner:
The aim of this training
session is to provide teachers with
a thorough understanding of the virtual
whiteboard. This is to ensure
that teachers know at least how to
use the IE Pro Digital board as a
normal whiteboard and save their work.
Also for teachers to have a
good understanding of how to integrate
graph paper, lined paper, and protractors
etc as backgrounds. Teachers
will also be taught how to import
resources from the internet, CD-ROMs
etc in their virtual whiteboard.
Intermediate:
The aim of this session
is to show teachers how to incorporate
the lesson planner soft keys into
their teaching, so as to have an understanding
of when to use functions such as reveal,
spotlight, zoom etc. We will
also discuss classroom management
issues surrounding the involvement
of the IE Pro Digital Interactive
Whiteboard as an ICT tool, i.e. when
to bring into the lesson. The
overall aim is to show teachers how
our lesson planner soft keys can be
used to enhance learning & teaching
in all subject areas.
Advanced:
The aim is to show
teachers how to change the lesson
planner soft keys, so as to customise
for an individual lesson. During
this training session teachers will
be shown how to link applications
and websites to the soft keys so as
to enable them to bring in a resource
with one click. The final part
of this session will be to look at
topic areas that teachers teach within
the academic year and to give them
an understanding of how to bring in
the IE Pro Digital board into specific
curriculum topics.
