The Minster School

In 2007, Interactive Education sold 50 Genee Vision 6100 Visualisers to The Minster School, Southwell, Nottinghamshire.

Based in Nottinghamshire, the Minster School has over 1600 students and wanted to change their outdated technology. “You don’t have to crowd round class work, students learn a skill more easily”
Interactive Education was chosen to provide visualisers for the entire school, covering all lessons.
“Turn it on - and just go”

Year 9 Student Phillip Wright - Art

Used mainly in; Science, English, Technology, Electronics, Art and Humanities, the Genee Vision 6100 is used across the school on a broad range of subjects. Good student work is highlighted in Maths, maps are annotated in Humanities, circuits are shown in Technology, drawings are compared in Art and exam papers shared in English.
“It’s incredibly useful! Students even tell me to put their work up on the visualiser and zoom in” “It improved our learning and lessons are alot more hands on”

Jenny Evans -Humanities 6th Form Student

Connecting the Genee Vision 6100 to PC’s, projectors, whiteboards, TV’s, Student response systems and even graphic tablets, they are making full use of the 6100.

Teachers were easily trained on how to use the Genee Vision , both through their own IT staff and Interactive Education’s customer service programme.

With the ease of use and the Genee Vision in almost every classroom, The Minster School is truely a 21st century place of learning.
