Interactive Response System ClassComm - Product Description
Our new and improved Interactive Response system is launching, taking learning into the 21st century.
Personalised learning module – students can learn at their own pace to give answers in a variety of ways, enabling the presenter to truly canvas the views of the audience.
The Class-com software means presenters can spontaneously create questions during a session, or even prepare a structured layout for the audience which can be used time and time again.
Answers can then be transferred, collected and analysed for future reference, so the participants have a permanent record of their results and feedback, which can be accessed at any time. Class-com works with any application and is now Vista compatible, meaning the full texting feature can run with any laptop, projector or pc.
What is it
What is an Interactive Response System?
It is also known as interactive voting system, audience response system, student response system or interactive learning response system. It is a system through which group participation is promoted during brainstorming session, classroom teaching, debate, quiz or any other discussion. This system consists of one main handset, set of other wireless handsets, one receiver (which uses radio frequency technology) and response software.
In an interactive classroom environment, teacher carries the main handset and each student has a personal compact wireless handset. The teacher asks a question from the class and then the class replies back through there personal handsets. The response software catches the students' response through the receiver and then generates a report in the form of table, graph, pie chart etc. These reports can be displayed on an interactive whiteboard, plasma screen, LCD screen or on any projection surface. The teacher can control the way, the report should be displayed through his handset (i.e. the main handset). This system is generally used in schools and colleges for quizzes, exams, tests etc and works well with interactive whiteboards of the same brand.
