We will ensure all necessary site visits and surveys are completed, we will complete a full installation including ceiling mount kits, wall plates, cabling and trunking where necessary. We also offer security solutions such as passwords and cages for projectors to prevent theft.
All installations also come with a 3 year warranty. Our installation experts will liaise closely with the school and offer advice regarding the best installation process. Interactive Education realise that sometimes installation during school hours can be a problem which is why we can offer out of school hours and out of term time installations.
Our Proposals are designed to fulfill the Local Education Authorities target dates for completion of any Project.
In light of the importance of a specific project, and the requirement for close liaison with a number of interested parties, Interactive Education would, from within its existing workforce, appoint dedicated installation engineers.
Installation Packages:
Category 1 Install - Standard Install
What does it include?
Initial complexities regarding installation will be identified as a result of the site survey questionnaire and on site surveys highlighted above. Where skills to overcome these issues are available within Interactive Education Limited they can be undertaken on a time and materials basis with approval from the necessary authority.
Where this is not possible details of the requirements will be communicated within 24 hours to the relevant personnel via the project manager.
Examples of how Interactive Education Limited has overcome unusual room designs in the past include:
All installations are carried out in a closed classroom. All tools used for installation are cordless limiting risk from power cables. Installation Engineers are trained in current Health & Safety issues and other legislation relating to the type of work that they undertake.
As a result of the above, Health and Safety of pupils and personnel is maintained. Should a Health & Safety issue be identified prior to, or during installation by any party involved with a project, any work will be suspended until a resolution is achieved.
Interactive Education Limited will not undertake specialist work such as asbestos removal. The project manager will seek advice and guidance from the relevant expertise within the awarding authority should this occur.
Please contact Interactive Education for more information about Health and Safety procedures.
Interactive Education will load Interactive Learning Software on one PC or laptop at time of installation. This will enable schools to use the Interactive Whiteboard and LCD Projector immediately. Details will be gathered in advance of the specification and configuration of this computer to ensure correct versions of the software are always available.
If this computer is connected to the school network, details of security and configuration settings must be available to facilitate a full software load.
Interactive Learning Software, the software that allows the board and computer to interact with each other incorporates a complimentary site licence. Installation onto other machines on site is the responsibility of the school. The site licence specifications include allowing the staff to use the software at home for lesson preparation. It is important to note here that the software works quite independently from the Interactive Whiteboard.
Free lifetime upgrades are available for Interactive Learning Software and will be installed on a rolling basis as and when available.
Interactive Education Limited engineers will leave classrooms in a clean and tidy state after installation removing all packaging and waste materials from the immediate site. Schools will be required to sign a completion note confirming their satisfaction with the installation of Interactive Whiteboard and LCD Projector. A copy of this note will be forwarded to the relevant Local Education Authority representatives.
Having signed in on arrival all employees will sign out when leaving the building according to each individual school procedures.
There are many benefits to be gained from compressing the implementation of a project, not least of which is the fact that all schools will be receiving their new technology at around the same time. This will create an additional impetus to the vision of any project.
Interactive Education Limited envisages that compressing the schedule for completion will not require additional labour resource other than that previously detailed.
We would be willing to discuss scheduling with Local Education Authority Representatives after the award of a contract.
In our continuing commitment to past, present and future customers, we offer a full range of support services to aid you with our products.
